Most appaloosa herds are built. Well...unless you have about $100,000+ to go out and buy one. Even then, there aren't alot of them for sale out there. To start building one, pick out one or two and start breeding/building. Wait, this is starting to sound like a blog post.
So much to say about this guy.
Confetti is a rare line of appaloosa. I *think* he is his own line of appaloosa. I believe he inherited the gene from his dam. And he is not doing bad for a 'pop-up' appaloosa. They all had... |

Minnow is a very unique harlequin appaloosa. She had a dramatic color change on her first shearing. She is a small, compact medium boned girl with an adorable, nosy personality. She gets her spots from both sides of her pedigree with Maria's Angel being her grand dam and Spotted Fox her sire. We are happy to have her in our foundation herd and look forward to her first cria in 2018. She has been bred to Confetti for a Sept cria.
Update 11-2018 Minnow had what appears to be a fawn male cria ... |

Holy Moly.
When Tammy Duensing offered Vick Sutton (Wooley beast) and I a wildly spotted son out of Confetti - we jumped.
Confetti has such a strong and impactful spotted career, I might even graduate him to iconic status in the harley world.
Jack took right after both Dad and Mom - two spotted parents.. and a bit wild they both are. Jack has a classic harley look but with some added "wild card" patterning.
This is interesting to us. LOL
We also love his fiber traits... for a harley at two plus years given the wild variation in his fleece.... this is highly respectable
21.1 micron AFD
4.7SD
4 year histo: 22.3/5.0 Holding his own.
We also love his strong conformation traits. This boy is straight, well proportioned and well put together in every way.
Jack jumped out of his little boy shell at the end of the 2021 season and we bred him to our girl Magical Maggie.
Is Jack homozygous? I sort of suspect he is given the color traits he is displaying from both mom and dad......
But alas - we shall see. More girls for Jack!!!!
Jack will get a stab at some solid females this year (2024) and we look forward to the outcome.
Keep the Confetti train moving I say!
