from our friends at Hidden Hill, Great Day is a bright sturdy well fleeced female with lots of promise.
She came to Willow Wind from Howling Hill in NH as part of that epic herd purchase in 9/2021. She departed the trailer and dropped a tough and tiny slightly premature male with just jaw dropping fiber two days later. We named him Tonka. Sire is none other than Man of Mystery. This little man retained his Mom's coloring; not a spot in sight... And he never quite caught up with his pen mates in size; not yet anyway but OH LORD - he got the fiber.
So we bred Great Day to Man of Mystery again and she is due early September, 2023.
Great Day has a slew of genetics that are noteworthy. Take a gander. Its just like her origin farm to do a thing like that. :)
Great Day is a compact, well boned, fiber powerhouse. Very easy on the eyes.
For now - we are going to wait and see what she does... this season.
