It is written so often as to be cliche: "This guy was special from Day One." Well, sometimes we use cliches because they are so darn true. I found Tonka Truck on the morning of his birth and he looked like a week-old cria. He was arrow straight, he had huge, solid bone, coverage already, and a gorgeous head. His fleece was already fine, dense, and organized.
Tonka Truck is only the 3rd cria born on our farm to our herdsire, Radar. Radar took a backseat in breeding last year, as we are actua... |

Its not easy finding an outstanding harlequin dam with some age on her. Kismet is that girl. She came to me via Kitt in Sept 2021 bred to Man of Mystery and promptly delivered a super dense youngster (you just cant find the skin dense) with Dad's coloring and I was sold. Her boy Game Changer is a keeper. I showed him at GWAS and he got .... 1st. YAY! He may be homozygous. BTW. I bred her in 2022 and she slipped. I bred her in 2023 AGAIN to Man of Mystery for a 2024 cria (September due dat... |

When you put two outstanding harleys together And each of them have their own special traits And the outcome is an amalgam of those traits Its awesome. Tiger Sprite Out of Pixie Cheetah (get it?) He had a 7+" staple at 10 months. That's right. Seven plus inches. He is bright. He is bundled. 20.7 micron - a little higher than he feels 4.2 SD We love him and we are keeping him. And we are going to prove him. He got a second place at Fall Fest in a multi Appy class - he is turning grey... |

Maize is a gorgeous female to behold.
As they say, you cannot keep them all.
Great mama. Excellent milk supply. She had her first cria in 2023 and he is glorious. Dad was Man of Mystery. Unnamed as of yet (it takes me an absurd amount of time to name babies). But looking fantastic. Is he homozygous? Due to his combined patterning - we think so but these things are a serious waiting game.
Maize has a boat load of fiber on her compact sturdy frame. She has a very mellow easy temperament.
Due to be bred to Tiger Sprite in early 2024 - this cria should be outstanding. Tiger's density and uniformity plus his outstanding display of long stapled fiber himself portend something special. (Tiger had a 7.5" staple with 10 months of growth year 1 and he is still packing it on.) Add in his proud presence to Maize's compact size and we think this is a match in heaven
Maize's pedigree:
Mom is Kismet. Dad is Tonka Truck. See links for more information.
She is a light silver grey with wildly patterned light and dark fawn spots across her face and neck - is this what we refer to as Leopard? If not - it should be.
Histogram is in process.
Maize has a very even temperament. Sweetie pie to be around. Very easy going.
And she turns 4 in September of this year - many years of production for this girl.
Should you?
We think you should.
Please dont hesitate if you desire more information.
Thx for looking
!!!!!!
Included: Man of Mystery Son Cute as a button and spotted himself. Homozygous? Very well could be - we see a blend of Mom AND Dad in this boy.
This is a 3 in 1 package I wouldn't let slip by.
